Personally, I think its all in good marketing skills to make this movie. Horror directors are smart, they know people are gonna piss and moan about sequels like this and still go see the movie anyway. So it still makes money. Death in movies is like the new sex...it sells.
Also, I just like seeing creative kills in a horror film. I don't expect the plot to rock, but I know the kills will. I'm gonna see it.

The best part about the TV show has been the 'flashbacks' into the future. Showing the rubber-skinned Terminators was a nice touch. I'm hoping they don't skip to the 'real' people to quick. T3 reminded me of Rambo 3, suddenly they try to get a sense of humor, which is not good.

I think the whole Terminator Salvation movie storyline developed by the first 3 movies basically paves the way for anyone's imagination to create any number of storylines. The possibilities are endless. And I don't know anything about how Hollywood studios work, but I'd bet the ranch that to put together a cast like that must not have been an easy thing to do without a great story in place. And as far as this McG guy goes, if Christian Bale, Warner Brothers, Sony, and James Cameron all universally put their faith into him, then I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.

Nah. It states that Angels & Demons was the first book to introduce the char. to the series. Im sure this will be a prequel to The Davinci Code. I can't wait to find out who McGregor is playing in this Angels & Demons movie, as he is my favorite actor. I couldnt see him playing the main priest, the popes understudy. Ok, I too am looking forward to this Fast & Furious movie online 2009 but when I read the synopsis, it didn't make sense. In 2 Fast 2 Furious, Brian was caught by the FBI and was going to be charged for letting Dominic go but then he and Tyrese helped them take down Verone and all charges were dropped. So how come in this film he is getting freed from prison for the same crime they just dropped all the charges for! Are they totally scrapping Furious 2 & 3 and making a new sequel to the first movie??? I personally want a movie with Paul, Tyrese and Vin Diesel!! That would be off the scale! Lol!

I do want to see this movie but everything like the alien and the background..... looks like crap! But I do want to see this movie it looks cool! Not a Sci-Fi fan but won some free tickets for an advanced screening and loved the movie. It's not a spoof of a 50's sci-fi but true to the genre. That's what makes it so clever, funny and cheesy. The vivid color, attention to detail and period props/costumes make this movie worth seeing. Great family movie to take kids that are 10 and above.

Development of the film began in 2005 when Paramount Pictures contacted Abrams, Orci and Kurtzman for ideas to revive the franchise. The creative team contrasted Orci and Lindelof, who consider themselves "Trekkies", with casual fans like Abrams, who all aimed to create a film that would interest a general audience. They wanted to be faithful to Star Trek canon, but also introduced elements of their favorite novels, modified continuity with the time travel storyline, and modernized the production design of the original show. Filming took place from November 2007 to April 2008 under intense secrecy. Midway through the shoot, Paramount chose to delay the release date from December 25, 2008 to May 2009, believing the film would perform better in the northern summer.
